Visualize Energy Data

I have used several data sets from USDOE to enable graphical viewing of energy data. There are two components so far: one uses the State Energy Data System (SEDS) for annual, statewide data on consumption, expenditures, and prices by energy source, sector, and year. Visitors can design and build their own custom pie, bar, and line graphs. The data should be updated to include 2008 by the beginning of July, 2010, after all data for 2008 become available.

 

The second component uses gasoline and highway diesel pricess from USDOE, and is updated weekly. Visitors can display line graphs of prices by region of the US, or for some states and cities (limited only by the availablility of data).

 

Both components have one-click examples, and use data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the US Department of Energy. Please visit at:
