Collaborate on Wikipedia Data.gov page.

The current wikipedia Data.gov page is a great, open , neutral platform for the entire comunity to post the links to the latest global to local data.gov sites and the apps that have been generated by developers. Make it more obvious how to suggest datasets!

It should be more obvious to users of both the main Data.gov site and this Ideascale site how to suggest datasets!

 

1. "Suggest Data" (or something like it) should be a Data.gov main menu item

 

2. "Dataset Suggestions" should be a "Category" here (on the Ideascale-based site)

Change "join the dialogue" to "join the conversation"

I applaud the Data.gov "powers that be" for enabling conversations ranging from strategy to technology by implementing this Ideascale-based site. I believe, however, that the site is mis-named. As the great author and consultant Peter Block has said, communities are about *conversations*.
